Located in the Perthshire Highlands, Aberfeldy is a small Scottish town surrounded by a beautiful region that includes the county’s highest mountain, longest glen, and deepest loch. If you enjoy a slow relaxed pace of life then Aberfeldy will be very attractive to you. Nobody rushes around, people have time to stop and chat. A stay of any length will allow you time to explore the many pretty villages that surround Aberfeldy. It is almost as if stepping back in time.
It is believed that Aberfeldy was given its name during the eighteenth century in relation to the mouth of the Pheallaich Burn. Today it is perhaps most well known for being mentioned in a poem by Robert Burns - ‘The Birks of Aberfeldy’. Interestingly Aberfeldy actually has no Birch or Birk trees!
If you have time then you should include a visit to the Falls of Moness. These are often described as the most accessible, yet spectacular, waterfalls in all of Perthshire. Their beauty is enhanced by the steeply wooded glen that frames them. The walk has two parts; both are well maintained and accessible at any time of year.

This is a newly opened hostel located on Hilton Street, Manchester. Nearest trains stops to the hotel are Piccadilly Station, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria and Salford Central and the closest airport is The Manchester Airport with only 15 minutes journey by train.
Many interesting tourist attractions and business places are easy to reach from The Hilton Chambers Hostel with Places like Nothern Quarter, Printworks, Piccadilly Gardens and Urbis among them. The Chinese Art Centre, The Richard Goodall Gallery, The Imperial War Museum, Museum of the Greater Manchester and the Rochdale Pioneers Museum are literally within the walking distance which make a suitable staying place for art lovers. Not much park and green area can be found around but The Piccadilly Garden perhaps compensates that shortage. Lots of restaurant and cafes are around the Hostel such as The Night and Day Cafe, The Odd Bar, The Soup Kitchen, The Simple and many more.
The Macdonald Manchester Hotel is situated on London Street, Manchester and can be accessed on train through The Manchester Piccadilly Rail, The Ardwick Rail and The Manchester Oxford Road Rail. TheManchester Airport and International Airport are closest airports to the hotel.
Plenty museums are nearby to explore including the National Museum of Labour History Trading, Manchester Museum and Museum of Science and Industry are within walking distance. If you are interested in art you can find The Whitworth Art Gallery and Castlefield Gallery are just minutes away. From the educational bodies The University of Manchester and Manchester College are aroundthe hotel . A few small parks and gardens can be visited in case of interest including Ardwick Green Park, Whitworth Park and a bit further Alexandra Park, Birchfields Park and Crowcroft par.
